Every woman should start a new conversations around their hormone health. This is a conversation that can begin while periods are still happening.

Perimenopause is like the second puberty, but no one gave women the information they need to know what’s happening. It's scary to not know what's happening with your body. It's also scary to learn that there are internal consequences that show up like a broken hip or dementia because of not having that information to make informed choices.

The science for so much of this isn't new, we were just never told and doctors were never taught.

What is perimenopause?

Perimenopause is the decade transition phase before menopause with subtle to loud hormone shifts. Menopause is the one year anniversary date from your very last period. (Fact: it takes very little estrogen for the female body to have a period.)

How do symptoms feel?

The first symptom most women encounter is "I don't feel like myself" Other early symptom of perimenopause can be foggy brain, hot flashes, mood swings, and hearing/ear canal changes.
